CreateIP News - Winter 2011
Welcome to the latest edition of the CreateIP Newsletter.
We hope everyone is recovering and getting back on track after the devastating earthquake of February 22nd. While our homes have suffered some serious damage we find ourselves thankful and fortunate that our families are alive and well.
At CreateIP we are still working out of the Bealey Avenue office and have even expanded the team, welcoming Lisa Kauke and Amanda Smith to the fold in recent weeks. Lisa is a graduate of the University of Canterbury Master of Engineering programme and joins us as an IP Specialist from Hubco Automotive; she will be supporting my work in the patent filing practice. Amanda has extensive legal secretarial experience from other firms and is joining CreateIP part time to support the trade mark practice while she works through her law degree.
Sadly our lovely PA Chelsea is leaving us soon to embark on an overseas adventure, and while she will be sadly missed, it opens the door for another talented person to join our thriving team. Watch this space for an update on our newest team member in the next issue.
