Examination and Maintenance of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks

When dealing with patent office requests for information and examination challenges, CreateIP will obtain and lodge the required information to the patent office on your behalf. This involves conducting telephone interviews with examiners where appropriate, and liaising with your research and development staff prior to drafting and submitting the written responses to the examiners.

Once the right has been granted the work shouldn’t finish.  Renewal fees fall due in most countries post grant.  At CreateIP we can monitor and pay these fees on your behalf.  Also important is periodically reviewing the granted IP rights to ensure they still achieve their aims and to ensure newer developments still are covered by the original rights.  If not, CreateIP can identify new matter for you and advise on the best IP strategy to take in respect of these changes.
