CreateIP is getting some important recognition on the world stage!

Intellectual property is a truly global field. When it comes to establishing and protecting brands, designs, ideas and inventions, we all need to look well beyond our own borders to consider international competitors and markets. So when companies in the UK, the US, Singapore, Brazil, or anywhere else, go looking for assistance with their IP matters as they relate to the Australia-New Zealand region, we want to make sure that CreateIP is on their radar.

That’s why we’re thrilled to be making our debut in the prestigious 2014 Managing IP Handbook. It is widely recognised as the most comprehensive and authoritative survey of the IP legal market available.

This year we earned Tier 3 recognition in the Patent section and Robert will be among the distinguished list of IP Stars when it’s published in July. We also have a profile in the analysis of the Trade Mark and Copyright section for New Zealand. Not a bad way to celebrate the company’s upcoming fifth anniversary!

The MIP Handbook website contains firm rankings and IP Star listings for over 80 countries and written analysis for key jurisdictions highlighting important matters from the last year and areas of expertise for the top ranked firms. The rankings are based on extensive and rigorous research carried out between September 2013 and January 2014, collecting and validating responses from thousands of practitioners. IP Stars are individuals recommended and confirmed by their peers and clients. The Handbook is published by Managing IP, the leading worldwide IP news and analysis publisher.

International client service is a big and growing part of our business and it’s great to see global companies putting Australasia on their priority list when it comes to filing their international patent and trade mark applications.
