CreateIP has made the shortlist of yet another distinguished international legal awards programme, the2013 Law Awards run by Finance Monthly magazine. The company is being recognised in the category of Intellectual Property Law Firm of the Year for New Zealand.

“The shortlist is made up from a wide spectrum of practice areas across many jurisdictions. As anticipated Mergers & Acquisitions and PPP have featured prominently this year as the global recovery continues. It has been a very tough job whittling down so many nominations and votes but our preliminary research has produced an accurate picture of the most gifted and innovative legal professionals practicing law today,” said Andrew Palmer, Awards Coordinator.

In 2012 CreateIP was named “New Zealand Patents Law Firm of the Year” in Acquisition International (AI) Magazine’s M&A Awards and “Most Innovative Law Firm of the Year (New Zealand)” in their annual Legal Awards.  They also got the nod from Global Law Experts as the New Zealand Patent Law Firm of the year and were honoured with “Most outstanding triumph over adversity” in New Zealand’s David Awards.
